Brupp is the Prince Edward Island cat who sets out to see the whole wide world. This volume includes the separately published Brupp stories and a new, never-before-published concluding story about Brupp (Book Six: Brupp and the Milk River Orphans).

Book Four (Brupp Goes West) and Book Five (Brupp Dreams of Home) were originally published as Brupp Rides Again, winner of a Canadian Children’s Book Centre Our Choice Award.

Author

Deirdre Kessler lives in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She is the author of more than two dozen books of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry and is a former Poet Laureate of Prince Edward Island. For many years, Deirdre has been a sessional professor of children’s literature, creative writing, and the course on L.M. Montgomery with the Department of English at the University of Prince Edward Island. In 2023, her novel, Darwin’s Hornpipe, will be published by Penumbra Press.
