Jane McGarrigle is the older sister of singer-songwriter duo Kate and Anna McGarrigle from Montréal and Saint-Sauveur; Jane is also a musician, record producer, occasional songwriter and author. The sisters' lives are chronicled in Anna and Jane’s book Mountain City Girls (Penguin: Random House) and in Dane Lanken’s book, Kate & Anna McGarrigle: Songs & Stories (Penumbra Press).
